Posted - Feb 26 2024 : 10:20:10 AM Last weekend the Finnish photohistorical society held its annual fleamarket, and I did buy one FSU-camera since long time of silence. Just couldn't resist a reasonably priced, fully working Komsomolets 1948. Even finder is still clear to see through. One small cracked bit in the back door surrounding, but not a light leak place.
PS: She is fond of me collecting TLR's as we have lately seen so many great photographers exhibitions, photos taken with a TLR
Best regards, Juhani

Posted - Feb 26 2024 : 11:24:39 PM No, not the first, but actually I have never been so much into using TLR, as I never got into my muscle memory how to turn the camera as image is mirrored. Also nobody in our family used a TLR, I was born to the 35 mm camera surrounding. And yes, Vivian Maier,s exhibition was also here in Finland some years ago. We have a pretty active national museum for photography, plus Tallinn with Fotografiska is close :)
Best regards, Juhani
