Looking for special markings will soon become a sport of "we take all our FEDs apart" ;-)
Ha, ha!
About that one, the date "9/III/48" remembers the official Fed inscriptions, with a year that we find only after WW2. Possibly it was repaired at the factory at that date...

very interesting, I have never seen so many engravings on any case. You also have another date engraved on the rewind crank, so it seems to be more common. Maybe it was done by a special employee, or maybe it was intended for a while, who knows. Looking for special markings will soon become a sport of "we take all our FEDs apart" ;-)
This camera has lived several livings before entering my collection...
