Hi,

and another new member :)

My name is Philipp, I normally live and work in Germany, currently in Uzbekistan where I plunder the local camera market - if anyone needs a tip for a good camera dealer in Tashkent, just contact me :) I've been a FSU camera user for a couple of years; I use a Kiev 88 as my main working camera in medium format, and used to use a Zorki 6 in 35mm.

I'm not much of a collector, even though I have a thing or two. I like to collect & exchange knowledge, though :)

Philipp

Hi Philipp,

Welcome to the forum and site! It is nice to meet you and it will be interesting to hear from you what you find in the way of Russian cameras in Uzbekistan.

Regards, Bill

Hallo Philipp!

As I'm equally new and we know each other already it seems presumptuous to welcome you! But - it's good to be in at the start of a great project

Incidentally - the Tupolev book was returned a second time and I have only just found it, as my postman, unable to push it through the mailbox, put it in the garden shed, where I try not to go.

My apologies to all other members for this hideous insight into my private life

Cheers, Ian
