Posted - Mar 20 2008 : 05:05:10 AM for me , it is also a fake : on some you can see a black marker line arround the badge , masking some glue defect. |

Posted - Mar 20 2008 : 12:06:52 AM Yeah, first there was one that didn't sell for almost 2 years, and then when it sold, all of a sudden more started appearing ... many from the same seller ... so makes me pretty suspicious. But just my opinion and I can be wrong about it.

Posted - Mar 19 2008 : 11:27:06 PM I see, thank you Bill... there was a thread about the Congress camera, maybe this one was mentioned, I don't quite remember.. there just seems to be a whole slew of these cameras... |

Posted - Mar 19 2008 : 11:20:42 PM Hello Vlad,
My opinion, the camera is a fake with an Aurora ship badge glued on it, but the paper wrapping may be real and was on a box that had a normal Export version (Roman logo) of LC-A from 1987.
On the camera you are talking about, the paper label says "Export" but the camera logo is in Cyrillic. Also it seems that all these cameras come from this same seller. I think when this web site was first started there was a brief thread about this camera and authenticity.
