Posted - May 10 2008 : 10:17:09 PM Hi everyone,
I plan to visit the Bièvres collectors fair beginning of June, as in every year since 1991. Who else will be there?
To make it a bit more tempting for you: I might bring something nice to show around...

Posted - May 12 2008 : 09:53:48 AM Please remind us earlier in 2009 as also my calendar is too full. Next week Riga and 14th June to Bucarest, so "a bit" difficult to stretch this inbetween But next year I could put a week or two in there, adding a summer vacation to it

Posted - May 12 2008 : 07:27:00 AM Alain,
Thank you very much! Unfortunately the 1st sunday of June is always occupied by similar fair near Riga (Latvia). A lot of collectors - camera sellers from Baltic States, a lot of customers from Scandinavia, Germany as well. A big quantity of my cameras were bought in that show some years ago. And the prices were funny enough ... I have bought my Smena-2M at price of 10 euros, Zorki-2c Festival - 4 euros, my friend obtained brown Maliutka for 20 euros ... Now the situation is changing obviously, but I always have my hope to find something special again ...
I will try to plan my trip to Bievres next year. I have heard a lot about this Photo Fair and would be happy to come at once.
Best Regards, Aidas |

Posted - May 12 2008 : 07:20:12 AM In addition to Alains explanation I would like say that Bièvres is THE place to go if you are into russian cameras. Many sellers from Eastern Europe offer quite unusual equipment there.
Also, there are so many crazy collectors in Bièvres from all over the world, that you will feel at home there - no matter what you collect...
See you there on May 31st / June 1st.
