Heard a story yesterday from a fellow collector I've met locally that this camera was developed by KMZ for taking panoramic pictures of the artillery kill-zone.. anyone heard of such a thing before?

Zoom, thanks for link, that story was also in one of the small Russian catalogs (Forgot the name).
