Hello friends,

I was lucky to obtain a complete set of early Zorki papers, incl. manual guide, passport, etc. Just wondering may be any of you possess the concrete Zorki #07849? . Thanks!

Thanks Vlad!

... but looking realisticly, I have good enough chances to find the particular camera among FSU camera collectors (appr. 1:3000). It's much more difficult to win a $1.000.000 in a lottery ...

Best Regards,
Aidas

Oh Aidas, you're a hopeless romantic! ..

I can ask Ruscamera seller on eBay to make one for you...

I have # 05784. It would be a miracle to find the matching camera, but then of course the two would have to be reunited!

Regards, Bill

Hi Jacques,

it means resolution of Industar-22 lens.
8a. 30 lines per 1mm in the center of the lens,
8b. 14 lines per 1mm at the edges of the lens.

Hope you understand my explanations?

Best Regards,
Aidas

No news of your "real" Zorki, Aidas, I regret...
But thanks for this passport which gives an exact date of production for this very early Zorki.
Could you please translate what is hidden under the 8a and b? It seems interesting!

Amitiés. Jacques.
