Posted - Aug 19 2007 : 11:09:32 PM Hi Folks,
Here are some photographs I took with the old Russian Cyclocamera 35mm miniature box camera from 1935. This camera doesn't use film in a cassette, instead it just uses the film with no cassette, so I took a standard roll of Ilford-400 35mm film, took it out of the cassette, and loaded it into the Cyclocamera in a dark place (under a blanket in a dark room ;-). I also had to put a strip of black cloth around the outside of the back, held in place with rubber bands, to seal the back door! It worked and the film fed through the camera smoothly without jamming (about 32 exposures on a 20 exposure roll due to the square format). Had to unload it in the dark as well.
Regards, Bill

Posted - Aug 21 2007 : 11:40:15 AM Hi Ian,
Thanks for looking at the Cyclocamera photographs and also for the compliments. I took them about 2 years ago and now after looking at them again, I am inspired to use the little camera again. I am going on a 10 day visit to my father who lives near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in the American Southwest. I usually take along a Russian film camera aside from my digital and this time decided to take the Cyclocamera to use. So, I will post more photographs when I return.
Regards, Bill
