Interesting looking camera. Is the yellow/cream colour original? Not sure I like it. I suppose I'm too used to black and chrome.

This yellow/cream coulour is very common as coulour of NARCISS. It is absolutely original. |

It's the camera itself which is interesting. A Narciss 2, with a non interchangeable finder...
Good find, Luiz! |

A very interesting progression of this camera, non-removable prism already (I wonder why.. cheaper?), a Zenit-like winding knob? Which is very strange to me, and also what is the purpose of the step in the top cover.. Lens name also a little strange - when the first one sported VEGA-M-1, this one is VEGA-1M..
Cheers, Vlad |

I completely agree with you, Vlad. A very strange and interesting camera. And even if the top cover is completely different from the regular Narciss one, we always find the usual (recognizable!) plugs.
Has anybody information about it? Luiz?
Jacques. |

Welcome seany65.
The camera is of course very interesting. But there are years 1965 and 1940. 1965 is year of camera production, 25th anniversary. But what was in 1940 ? Krasnogorsk started to produce cameras few years later. |
