Hello everyone! I just got a new collection of cameras and noticed some strange Kiev. It's probably 3A model, but I'm not sure. It has red colored label on it, which is unusual. Dear collectors, could you please identify this model, give some information about it and average price for this type?

Hello The.graytest and welcome to the forum. I'm sure someone will be able to help. Probably even be able to tell where the screws were made, and the chemical composition of the red paint, lol. Anyway, it could take a while to get useful replies as this place can be a little quiet in comparison to some other forums. But stick with it.

Hi, I suspect a past owner has applied some red paint to the logo to make it look a bit different.
Cheers,
Steve

Hi,

I've seen this many times, people fill these engravings themselves with red paint. The only exception is Zorki 5 where it is indeed factory red.

Best regards,
Vlad
