I love small cameras, and if they also have riddles.... I got my hands on a rare Mimosa I camera, judging by the serial number of 1948. I think that this camera is undeservedly neglected. About 2500...3000 units were made. If you are interested in the history of the camera, here is a link https://zeissikonveb.de/start/kameras/mimosa.html. The history is really interesting...
I got the camera in a rather poor condition. The shutter was jammed, the front lens unit was missing. The back cover latch was broken.
The hardest part of the restoration process was finding the front lensblock. But I solved this problem as well. Now the device is fully restored and pleases visitors to my office.
Sorry Denn this is an offtopic for this forum unless this camera is related to Soviet industry somehow..
Linked only by the fact that production was in the DDR, then under the control of the USSR. It is believed that the USSR wanted to obtain documentation on the production of these cameras. Therefore, the production was transferred to Zeiss and all documentation was destroyed. However, if this is not interesting to anyone and does not comply with the rules of the site, you can delete this topic.
