Hello,

We can identify at least 4 different Cyrillic and Latin Kiev rangefinder front plates between 1950 until the end of production.

Around 1950 to 1954-55 :

Uncommon, made using engraving. Can be found without the latin name.

From 1955 to 1957-58 :

To me the finest sample Kiev IIa and IIIa cameras only but some late models can be found with the following type (1957-74).

From 1957 to 1974 :

From 1974 to the end of production :

Please post your samples if you own something different.

Best,

Jed

Hello Vlad,

Great ! Obviously I forgot that one :)

So for now we've got 5 different front plates (6 if we consider the impossible-to-find sample without the latin name).

Best,
Jed
