Hello Vlad
Maybe it's a prototype with TTL metering? I don't know ... but it was the first impression I had. Okay, for a camera from 1966 this would be a big surprise if it's such a advanced technique was used in this year (the first known TTL metering from KMZ was in 1972 with the Zenit 16). But who knows? Maybe you can find it out asking the seller directly?
Best wishes - Guido

Hello Guido,
it is very nice prototype (Kiev 11 was never produced as serial model), but without TTL-metering. It has a classic mirror prism, that's all. The first Kiev-camera with TTL was Kiev-15, which was started as serial model in 1974.

By sure it is an all manual camera without any light metering system. Seeing the front panel we note the traditional diaphragm dial at left. This scale is at same place of the known Kiev 10 and 15. Symmetrically at right, we find the speed control dial which is placed on the top around the rewind button,in Kiev 15, and in the top in Kiev 10. The body of this prototype matches the original Kiev 10 first issue, except for the Kiev 10's bottom rewind crank. Regards LP |
