Something Completely Different ... the Pentax Q, my new "baby" :-)

It's smaller than a Narciss and looks really nice I think. It's a digital camera (12 MPix) with interchangeable lenses, adapters for a lot of systems are existing. I own one for M39 screw mount. A nice camera for the pocket with in my opinion good picture quality even it has a very small sensor (a Jupiter 8 becomes a 250mm lens).

Here are some pics.

Compared to the Narciss:

With a Jupiter 3 attached:

Shot at aperture 5,6 with a Jupiter 8:

The picture quality with the Pentax Q standard lens at ISO 640, really good in my opinion:

Very nice! I had a Sony NEX-5 that size, also used all the M39 lenses but it was a very disappointing camera, picture quality was not good. I ended up selling it and replacing it with Fujifilm X10 that doesn't have interchangeable lens unfortunately but does sport an F2-2.8 (18-120mm equivalent) lens. I love that camera.

The Fuji X10 is a very nice camera. Two weeks ago there was a big camera road show with different camera manufacturers here and I have had it in my hand. They also had the new X1 there (but that's too expensive...).

On The Pentax Q I love that it has 1:1.9 as widest aperture and that the lens is sharp there! So I use it the most time at 1.9 to 2.2 with ISO 125 and because it has a in-body stabilization it's really easy to make shots at low light with 1/10 or longer exposure times. And it looks cute ;-)
