Hello!

I have just received a Jupiter 12 with Zeiss optics. Absolutely beautiful.
But I cannot use it as it is: the distance ring is really too stiff.
Hence my question: is there a safe and easy way to dismantle just what is necessary to clean and relube the lens? There is nothing in the "Maizenberg" about that operation.

Thanks! Jacques.

Thanks, Vlad! I fear it is not without risk for the lens...

I had forgotten to say that my lens is a LTM. Is it the same way as described to clean the distance helicoïd only?

If yes, I will have it done by a specialist...

Amitiés. Jacques.
