I only paid $15 but it could end up being a $15 paperweight. Supposedly it is slightly foggy but still useable. Is it possible to clean these up and might this one be useful with my FSU`s? Thank you, John

Here`s the item description by the seller.
Looks just like the Leitz product, but clearly marked "Universal," & "Japan." Large ring continuously sets an internal mask for 35mm through 135mm F.L. lenses. Shows moderate usage and wear, slightly foggy, but viewable and the ring and parallax corrector wedge seem to be working well... but it's as is where is ... Opinions and comments are welcome. I learn much from them. John |

Yeah thanks,I expected that to be but I`d still like to know if the fogging is permanent or can be reduced or eliminated. John |

I got this answered on the RF forum and thought I would pass it on here just for general info. John
