Hello All,
Need some recommendations please.
To accompany my Fed and Zorki rangefinders and other bits and pieces I'm looking for a lightweight 35mm viewfinder camera (not rangefinder) with basic zone focus and a fixed lens for pre set point and shoot which will fit in a pocket.
I know the Smena 8M has a good lens and its on the list but are there any other ones which I should consider maybe of better quality.
Many Thanks.

Thanks Vlad.
The Fed 50 is on the list, shame about that gold blingy writing though!
Lomo LC-A tend to be overpriced here, anything which lists Lomography or Lomo attracts high prices in the UK, the curse of the Hipsters? |

Thanks Luiz,
The Elikon did catch my eye, quite rare over here.

I've the option of purchasing an Elikon or Fed 50.
I'm leaning towards the Fed 50, what do you think?
Thanks

If you already have Feds and Zorkis and you only want to point and shoot, why looking for other cameras, you can do everything with them. Fed-1 and Zorki-1 are not heavy. If you don't like bottom-loader take a Fed-2, a Zarya or a Zorki-6. And if you really want a leightweight take a Smena-1 or Smena-6. I wouldn't buy younger stuff, I would use the one I love. Of course Feds and Zorkis need some service to work well after so many years. If you don't have a good working one I'm sure here are many collectors who can give you a good working one which isn't so interesting to keep in the collection. |

Thanks Lenny,
Some good advice there.
I've a Fed-2, which I like and use. I tend to agree that it is best to stick with the older ones so maybe the Fed 50 is not the one to go for.
I'll check out your recommendations.
Many Thanks |

Hello All,
Just a quick update I bought a Zorki 10 which is described as in full working condition, lets just hope the meter is working when it arrives!

Well, here it is. In very good condition, fully working including case etc.
Controls might take some getting used too, bottom winding and long travel on shutter, but it's a solid thing and I'm looking forward to the challenge.
