The MTF graphs mean nothing to me. They are completely different from the graphs published in 'What Camera Weekly'in the early 80's. I understood theirs. Along the bottom they showed the aperture and up the left side they showed the 'LPM' figures, such as 20, 30, 40 etc. the graph had 2 smooth curves (the 1st. high contrast the 2nd. low contrast) which showed the LPM for each aperture. All you had to do was look at the aperture on the bottom and follow the line upwards to the curve and then look along the line to the left to see the LPM that the lens could produce at that aperture.
