Certainly one of the latest! With that very soft chrome that we won't find later...
It looks like the chrome of my s/n 4642...
Congratulations, Fred!

Jacques.
PS: not sure, but perhaps the lens is a bit too late, considering its serial number?

Yes, I have noticed the same thing.
The lens seems to be little bit too late.

Lens maybe correct: 7 / 24 not a direct SN.

Better ask owner, i sure he can compare with other "1" on FED lens #SN and define "/" or "1".

I don't know
It seems not to be a "1" but a "/"
Please look at the 2 other lenses below.. one has same marking and the other one has regular 1

"1" in the room of the lens is good! I've often met such.
Number of the lens number 7124, This number is 700-1000 units a lot more than you need in theory.
