Hi,

I looked at my jupiter-11s and found this S/N 5061943 Kiev mount J-11 a bit puzzling. Does that mean 61943 J-11s were made in 1950? I don't think so many rangefinder cameras of all types, Kiev, Zorki,Fed ,etc were made in 1950, let alone a not so common Kiev mount accessary lens. All my other J-11 has a 4 digit S/N. What do you think?

Cheers,

Kievuser

Hi Zhang
Perhaps it only means that 61943 Jupiter of all types were made in 1950??
That same year, c. 40000 Zorki 1 and 30000 Fed 1 were made. I don't know for Kiev.

Amitiés. Jacques.
