Hello Newfy,

welcome to USSRPhoto.com! Excellent web site and a LOT of cameras, I will have to spend some time there .

Fotokor is a glass plate camera but it also takes aftermarket Rollfilm adapters that lets you use the 120 film on it.. It is possible it can also take the sheet film backs, I would not be surprised, but it would probably be aftermarket modification just like rollfilm adapter. There are quite a few ingenious devices made for that camera.

Although I just was going through a bag with different Fotkor plates ( I got 4 sets) and found an interesting device.. It's a double sided back for Fotokor that does not look like to be an original GOMZ piece, (it says GMTP Z-D Metiz, g.Kiev on it), that seems to be able to take a sheet film and maybe glass plates as well.. if you're interested I can take pictures and post that item here. Oh, the stuff I discover at my own house that I never knew about... ehehhehe... I guess acquiring more than 200 cameras in 6 months just made me less attentive to specific details for individual pieces... .. of course the Moskva 3 #5000006 was the biggest discover in my own house to date ... hehe.. who needs camera shows, eh?

Best regards,

Vlad.
