The photo of Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin, Was educated as a foundry worker. While at technical school, joined Saratov Aero Club and later entered the Air Force School.He graduated as a grade A pilot in 1957 Member of the Communist party. Deputy to Supreme Soviet U.S.S.R President of Soviet-Cuba Friendship Society. Joined staff of Zhukovsky Air Force Academy, 1961The photo of Gagarin was shot at the home of the USSR-Canada Friendship Society. He wore the uniform lieutenant-colonel and only a few decorations. His first class pilots wings, The flag badge, the 5 sided badge of cosmonauts, Karsh said he was somewhat withdrawn and shy. So that's the story of these two photos, I don't know what type of camera was used just that it was a large 8x10. Don
