Two fantastic Almaz cameras.
The first one with mechanical data back.

Looks like it exposes the film from the back as the date device is connected to the flash sync. It probably triggers a light source found inside the date back.

Exactly!
There is a film with reversed print on numbers and months. A small lens and a mini projector with internal filament lamp. This lamp glows in each picture taken activated by synchro contact, and exposes film from the back. Zenit 19 had a similar device for using on its gastro/endo version.

I see, how very interesting! It is amazing how bulky this thing was, if to think of it, the cheapest of the small plastic cameras today can do date stamping ..

Aidas, is this a advetising brochure? Can this be added to catalog? I can do it, but I need to know if it's yours and whether I have permission to do it.

Thanks!
Vlad.

Vlad,

You are welcome to add to catalogue! No, this is not an advertising brochure for sure. I have bought (in Ikskele again ... ) a lot of separate sheets with cameras 1980-1986 (and lenses), issued by "Dom Optiki" or "Optic's House" in very small quantities. Probably Dom Optiki was official camera distributor, while very interesting information (and secret enough in soviet times ...) about shutter resource of each camera and so on ... Every single sheet has an unique code for ordering, that's why I mean it's from distributor ...

Best Regards,
Aidas
