First thing you probably have is an accurate meter you have been using and rely on to compare against. Then you need a 18% wall or a medium grey sheet etc. he he . take your reading in ambient room light with a quartz or photo flood bulb aimed at the wall. Then this is very important- meters have to be at the same distance to the test wall. Take a reading on both and determine how much the Leningrad is off by. Then adjust the potentiometer on the Leningrad to match that of the good accurate meter. All these tests are done on the highest sensativity setting. If they are matched after the adjustment, good, then check the Lenningrad on the other settings for higher light. If they are close (success) almost. Then compare both outside with a garage door under the same conditions and distances. Be careful for light sneakiing around edges. Most meters have different acceptance angles. My Leningrad has a white plastic filter that clips on for light source readings, check them also. Remember plastic can discolor and throw off readings. Good luck Don
