The Leningrad-7 uses a selenium cell and has three sensitivity settings. Two are set by by a spring-loaded slider on the right hand edge of the meter, the other is set by the lever to the left of the meter scale. Film speeds from 6 to 33 DIN / 3 to 1600 ASA can be set. Apertures from f/1.4 to f/22 and exposure times from 1/2000 to 30 seconds are catered for. The Leningrad-7 can also be used for cine photography, with frame frames of 8, 16, 32 and 64 frames per second marked.
