N.N. Apostoli constructed twin reflex cameras for 9x12, 10x13 and 18x24 plates. The camera was utilizing anastigmats by Ross and aplanats by Zeuter and others. This camera mostly was usign shutters by St.Petersburg's V.S. Vasiliev. These are in-between the lens shutters with pneumatic release.
This camera was also used underwater (image #4). It was either mounted to an non-moving fixture like a ship's hull or rails of the bridge, or shot by hand for which there was a special shoulder belt and body suspension system. The camera was fairly large.
