Wiki Catalog Entry
In later years BelOMO had decided to replace metal tops on their Zenit ET cameras to plastic ones.. These cameras are usually bronze/brownish color.

Collection of Steven Berkowitz

Camera shown on pictures #3 - 11 has s/n 9112025, it made on Des. 23 1991 in time of complete dismantle of the Soviet Union, but camera still has Made in USSR label on the bottom plate. Probably the last butch with such labeling.
This camera is a complete remake of earlier Zenit ET. The shape and features remain the same, but material from which camera was made is different. It mostly made from plastic and lite alloy. Not only external parts like top and bottom cowers made from plastic, but many internal gears, levers, and pulleys are made from plastic as well. Despite of this (or may be because of this) camera work very smooth, quieter then metal counterpart. But the most peculiar part that this model is arguably first color coated Zenit in mass production. Camera has bronze coloring of the top, bottom and front trim.
