Having adapted a new-to-me Panasonic G1 to accept my ex-USSR lenses , my final fling from e-bay sales is a Contax RF adapter for my M8 .

This will permit full function with my J8s / J8ms / Brian Sweeney J3 / and my stunning Helios .

I guess that this will be the closest I can get to a digital Contax - it's even of a similar size , and it is Chrome !

The adapter is about £130 , which is less that trying to find a decent J8 and J3 adapted to Leica focusing register .

I have already had fun looking through some of my ex USSR lenses on the G1 - even if it is electronically !

Interesting topic, but I would like to hear about other options than M8 which is terribly expensive at least here.
What digital bodies accept LTM-lenses (with adaptor) and could be found pretty easily for a reasonable price?

I do have digital-SLRs which can take FSU-lenses: Canon for ZM42 and Fuji for Kiev-N/AI but they are a bit clumsy and need a very precise exposure.

Best regards,
Juhani

Hello, I've done the same a couple of months ago. Jupiter 12 and Orion 15 work fine with M8. Best, Jean
