I have a TTL that I was about to put a roll of film through today. As I go t it out to test, everything seemed fine excep that about 1 in 5 times 1/30 acts as bulb. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Dear Martin,

I had this with two TTLs. Solved it by putting a metal space ring underneath the shutter speed selector. I really love the looks and hold of the TTL, but the great drawback is the dark focusing screen. The Zenit E and EM are much brighter.

Fortunately, it was just the shutter dial required a simple tweak!

Shutter curtain springs need propably tensioning, there has been instructions on this at least in Yahoos ZCG.

Best regards,
Juhani
