At present on eBay since a month or two. I should wait for its sale, but I am too curious!

I have asked the seller about the extra button (and the plate below). He does not know. Is the button connected inside to something? Is the disc free? What is this curious change for?

If you have ideas...

Jacques.

Thanks, I have seen it on ebay now. But I am also not interested in it.

No, Ulrich. I don't intend to buy it: out of my present collection.
And it is still on ebay, for the moment.

Amitiés. Jacques.

Jacques, to me it seems to be useless to have such a "note" on the front side of the camera. Have you bought it or is it already on ebay?

Yes Ulrich. I wonder too if all that is not a sort of "notebook" to be sure of the equivalences when using films with different sensibilities.

By the photo of the camera, 1/25th at 32ASA = 1/60th at 65ASA = 1/125th at 125ASA. The disc should rotate so that any speed can be used.

But what is the practical use of such a modification?

Jacques.

Hm, the 32, 65 and 125 might be the ASA speed of film? Maybe there is an additional built in lightmeter? But I can be totaly wrong :-) The flash connector also looks different. Strange camera.

this is quite strange as this isn't a slow speeds dial modification, it seems to have all speeds. My only guess is that somehow the top speed selector was broken and the only way to fix it was to install this makeshift one... OR... the owner preferred the front speed selection for quick access on the front of it, maybe for someone who took photos professionally and needed this...
