Posted - Sep 19 2008 : 09:27:06 AM I was wondering how common is the latter version pictured in the entry (the single line logo)? I just picked one up yesterday, I've never seen it before for sale. Or is it fairly widespread in Europe?

One SL for sale in Finland just now, starting bid 16 euros and I doubt this will not get much higher. My favourite seller, would come to me in my next parcel, already two cameras waiting to be shipped. Anyone here who has a bigger vitrine for sale...

sorry I don't get it.. what does "back part - left one line, right two line" mean? I've been staring at the picture of the backs here for a while and I don't see what you're talking about. The only difference i see is the different exposure calculator dial and the stopper on the shoe is absent on the right one.

Posted - Sep 23 2008 : 11:27:11 AM may be, may be ....? who can say ? you know, in LOMO factory many models was aborted because some "managers" decided (remember Almaz history)...In my hands ,the problem is nor date nor serial number on that camera.
But : all the body came (or became )exactly from "Smena rapid" (same size and weight) except the bottom , which is slightly thick because batteries insert.
Same problem about my Smena symbol all heavy metal...prototype ...or post serie model ??? I will be very glad if someone can tell me more

Solution ? : you are , all friends on the forum, invited in my house around a good bottle (or more...)of Champagne or Cognac to talk about these enigmatic models in my collection... ( you have just to pay a charter plane for... ) |
