I recently bought a Leningrad (4-bolt model) with J-8 and put some Kodak 160NC (expired) through it. It is a very nice camera!

Everything works 100%, it is in excellent condition. The only problem is the camera does not seem to focus well at wide apertures. My test shots from F2 to F4 were all blurry.

I am sharing some photos that I took. They were all scanned using my Epson v700 scanner.

Dear Novatron,

Congrats with your Leningrad, seems you got a fine example with a good lens.
What needs to be adjusted is the rangefinder cam which couples and moves with the lens, second is the mark for infinity. (Its a screw hidden under the screw of the front rangefinder eyepiece.)

In such way that camera and lens focus correctly at 1m and infinity. The distance of 1m is measured from the object towards the back of the camera.

Good luck :)
