I found this ad which was lost since the begining of our fórum. From January 1951 na ad of Russian câmera They say Contax II but it is really a Kiev 2 They say Jubilee but it is a Komsomoletz They say Jubilee II but it is a Lubitel (1) They say Ikomat C but it is a Moskva 2 Take your own conclusions Regards LP http://www.ussrphoto.com/UserContent/2392016_popphoto lubitel etc.png
Observe they do not mention the Sonnar lens! But factory coated in latest lightwheight rigid mount. The internal buit-in flash synchro means Kiev 2a . Never a Kiev 1947 nor a Contax II Regards LP
I was joking, Luiz! But I had not seen there is a flash synchro.
That said, and just to speak, we find an original flash sync. on the late Jena Contaxes: then it is on the cover. On Kiev 2a, this sync. is on the front. Nothing on the front here. And the paper dates of 1951, the 2a from 1955.
