Software problem?

Noticed that uploading pictures can cause a problem. If there already is a picture here with same file name then that is deleted, and replaced by the new one. Eg if I know that Vlad's avatar pic is named vladspic-dot-jpg then I could change it by uploading another vladspic-dot-jpg picture in another topic.
My Rubin-11M topic had this happened by myself as I uploaded second picture, and yesterday I noticed that Sputnik-2 topic has Aidas' picture changed to wrong one [V]

Yes I am actually aware of this issue unfortunately, it's been on my list of things to fix for a while.. I need to get to it.. I was planning to append a number like a date to beginning of each file so it minimizes chances of overwriting.. sorry this actually happened.. been quite busy, not much time to work on site improvement lately but I'll do my best to correct this.

Juhani, good news. I've fixed the filename issue! It now appends the date automatically to the file name so the images have minimal chance of overlapping unless 2 people upload same image file name the same day.
