Hi,

Just few minutes ago I have got an interesting (and very strange ...) M42 lens, under export name Super Saturn-3 2.8/200. The most curious thing is "Made in Rossia" (!) engravings on the face plate. The lens itself is heavy-metal made with metal lens hood included. Although it's named as 2.8/200 lens, you can see easealy on my picture, that diaphragm scale starting from number "3.2", and not "2.8" as should be ... [:)] There's no metering scale at all as well as serial number is absent ... As I said before, lens itself looks very strong and heavy, with a big number of diapragm's sheets inside (as on my Tair-11A lens). Any ideas about this strange russian or "rossian" [:)] lens would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi!

Looks as odd as my Rubin-11M PowerZoom-lens 8/60-240mm (http://www.ussrphoto.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1173).

Some kind of copy for 3rd world or made in China? Certainly not intended for western countries, not anymore in the age where camera items looked like this.

Best regards,
Juhani

"Made in Rossia"????!! well this is a first... I can't think of any other language where Russia is spelled Rossia except for Russian [:)]..
