Wiki Catalog - new catagories

Hi Vlad,

You may have noticed that I have started adding many of my accessories to the Wiki Catalog. I think it would be useful to have a few new sub-catagories in the Photo Equipment and Accessories section. I suggest that the following sections might be added:
Bellows & Macro Rings.
Film Hoders, Magazines & Cassettes.
Timers.
Films & Plates.
Developing Tanks.
Enlargers.
Repair Kits.
Tripods & Clamps.
Self-timers.
At the moment we have 222 items all under the one heading. What do you think?

I've added the requested categories to the Photo Accessories section. If you guys see something that doesn't belong in one of the other sections and can be moved to the newly created ones please submit a Request Category Change under the wiki entry, but be sure to be logged in first so I see who did it. Great idea, David, thanks again!

Also a question - I added both Timers and Self-timers sections as you requested - what is the difference? If they're the same I can remove one of them.

Thanks Vlad.
The catagory, 'Self-timers', is for camera shutter delay devices, and the catagory, 'Timers', is for enlarger and process timers for the lab. Maybe for clarity, 'Timers' should be retitled 'Lab Timers'.

About the Wiki, I wonder if it wouldn't be interesting to add a "pre Kiev" section.
It would only contain the Jena Contaxes which were the fathers (or the cousins) of the first Kiev.
Of course, I propose that because I am a fan of the 1944-1950 period![:)]

For me, the linkage between Fed and Leica is not the same: Fed are copies whereas early Kievs were made from Contax parts or on the same lines...
