Can anyone date this camera. I did read in the Russian camera catalogue the Fotokor was made between 1930 and 1941. I posted the camera image and first photo taken on another forum.. I made the comment 'Not bad for a 70 year old camera"

I have been told this camera was made after 1941 the actual year of manufacture is 1949

Number under the focusing track 484493
Lens No 495712

So if any of you guys can give me some idea when it was made that would be great .. Thanks Colin

Hi,
the last Fotokor was produced in 1941. The camera you have is about 1936-37. What is written on the folding back GOMZ or VOOMP (ГОМЗ or ВООМП)?

Regards, Alexander
