Here are the Kiev/modified Contax twins.

The tan one was a rat Contax, which I never expected to be completely restored, but the techs managed to save the shutter, so it's almost original-except for removing the broken delayed action.
Paint and leather were terrible, so I asked for the metal to be stripped and sent tan leather to make a wholly unique Konta.

The black camera was literally, a box of spares from two or more cameras.
Initially I hoped that the controls and fascia could be fitted to a Kiev III, but they used all the parts with a complete new,Kiev shutter.
Mike tells me that it is a new, not used, shutter , so could be from Kiev 4/4a 1970s?

Both cameras work perfectly, the tan Contax surprisingly quiet, I did take photos some while ago and no light leaks etc.

The Contax II twins, Contax III and Contax/Kiev twins cost average £150 each, so not cost effective, but I was receiving about £100 for each Dinky Toy car.

Resale value? Probably £10 each!!!!
