Hi Russian cameras lovers!

It's been a while I didn't post into this forum... but just because I was busy. I made some rolls with soviet and DDR cameras & lenses during last months... and I'll post here in next weeks.

I'd like to start with a camera I bough thinking it was simila to her sister 8M..... The Smena SL. When I realized it needed the special SL cartridges I had to arrange to find some and so got 5 rolls of (1992 Expired) Orwo NP20 b/w film.

Not bad for such an expired film. I used the camera just !as is!... without meter or accesory rf.....

Nice photo. Too bad the Smena SL uses the rapid sytem. Because this particular Smena camera has such a decent metal construction which is not found on any other Smena camera.

It is a joy to use however if you have bulk film you can load yourself.

It's a nice camera indeed. Having some rolls of Orwo... I'll have some SL cartridges to load with film (normal rolls are enough to load a couple of it....) [:)]
