After some close examination on the collimator, the lens showed to be slightly off on infinity. Which means even sharper images are possible the next time after calibration.
The Smena is a great (perhaps underestimated) camera. It forces me to be more creative, using the tripod more often and think about composition. The slightly shorter focal length of its lens (40mm) is excellent for field and town sceneries.
