Hello friends of this forum!

I had problems in using Schneider-Kreuznach lenses (for Exakta 66) on my K60 and K88, despite the apparent compatibility.

1) In K60, the Schneiders attach very forcibly, almost impossible to use them. I could only resolve the problem by grinding a very small amount of the snap ring on the camera, then bingo! Now the fit is well soft. Of course, I had to carefully isolate the interior of the camera with paper so that the dust of the scraping wouldn't come in the delicate internal mechanisms.

2) in K88 the Schneiders do attach but the mechanism of diaphragm auto does not operate, remaining open at the maximum and does not close to the selected aperture. Any suggestion is welcome. Thank you!

Hello friendlyrod, I would like to help, but I've almost no knowledge of those cameras, other than what they look like.

But I thought I'd say 'Hello' and introduce my self. I'm seany65 and I'm new here too. I've only got one FSU camera and it's a zorki 4k. I'll have to get a different camera though as there are a couple of repairs needed and I can't afford to have it fixed. I also have to find out what would be a suitable repalcement.

Hope someone can help you soon.
