Interesting. Did you notice item 'K' at the bottom as well? Doesn't look like a re-badged FSU camera. Wonder what it mdoel it really is?

It looks like black painted Zenit E.

Hello

The camera in question don't look like a Zenit-E (look at the speed wheel). Quantaray is a trademark of Ritz Camera in the US. The camera could be a rebranded Topcon or Cosina.

Guido, I'm talking about "Delta 1" camera. It is marked with letter "C." on above picture.

Alfa, they made black Zenit-E's for export. With "Zenit" on one side and "E" on the other.

Cheers,
Vlad

or this regular one. They just put their own badge on it.

Hello "Alfa2"

Your answer was the next of the one of Sean about the "K" camera and not the "C". But okay, the "C" is a black Zenit-E, that's evident.

Best wishes - Guido

You're right Guido. I have been reading this thread in few steps when new posts appiered. And this was the reason.

Vlad, thanks for the photo of black Zenit E. I never treated Zenit E like object for collectors because I have used 2 Zenits E few years (silver ones made in Krasnogorsk) in 70's and first half of 80's. They were quite well done, better than later models of Zenit. Those days I dreamed about Zenit TTL or 12XP. You know, I wanted to have TTL metering. Finally it managed to buy Zenit 12XP. I don't remember if I described here (in this forum) how I managed to do this. In communism it was not so easy.
