I had seen two 00. But this one is the first...
What can I say? Nothing![8)]
Amitiés to you, Ilya. Jacques.
Can I add: it's the first earliest Fed I see with an Elmar lens.
The rumour had told it, you show it.
Thanks, Ilya.

Is FED number 0023 copy of Leica 1A or copy of Leica II ?

The second camera is a Fedetta (1937), in sheet iron.
Most of them have disappeared...
Jacques.

Sorry that was a mistake from me, I have understood something wrong of what altix told me. Maybe I was a bit confused after drinking some beer ;-)
To be more precice: I have not seen a picture of a FED with serial 23, only the one from Ilya. We also talked about early Kievs from 1947, so I have mixed up something.

For the moment, no "living" original Fed has been seen, only some photos taken in 1933. And of course several fakes.
Probably some of them are in safes...
Jacques.
