Hello comrades,

the seller of the F-21 made me an offer where I couldn't say no to :-)
Today a small wooden box arrived here, inside a Totchka C-252 with aome accessories. I can identify the boxes for the film cassettes, but what are the other two metal things, specially the one on the right side of the picture:

One question about the camera itself, how do I open it? :-))

The seller put another thing into the box, a cable release for a F-27 as I could identify in Princelle. Now I will ask her if she has the camera for that cable release too ;-)

Maybe the item on the right is a "film-splitter" if it has slots to put 35mm film into (and on the otherside comes out as 3 pieces with the middle strip to fit the cassette for Totchka).

Open the camera by using the chrome-silver ring for cord attachment (on the right side end of your camera in the photo). Push it in some direction and the side plate will open ....

Very nice to see this with it's original box!

Regards, Bill

Bill,

thanks, I opened it and found a Minox film cassette in it with a special adapter to make it work? Princelle says, the Minox cassettes won't fit, but it fits very well and the camera works with it. By the way it is very very quiet.

And, very nice, serial number of the wooden box and the camera are the same :-)

This metal thing is curious, it has a clip (clamp, holder?) that can be moved but I don't know what will fit in there. Maybe I screw it up and take a look inside :-)

hi friend,
i possess the same wood box , so...
the little aluminium shaft is to re-fill cassette (you have to turn it in the dark , on cassettes axles ...after cutting a correct size film whith the cutter on the right side (this whith 9,5mm engraved on)

(introduce a standard 35 mm film inside and cut it for refill cassettes....hard hand craft [}:)]...in a dark cabinet !!!)

Alain,

thanks for the explanation, that makes sense. So it seems to be complete, only the original cable release is missing?
