how do you make a new entry...?

I would like to make a second entry for the noname contax since there are two versions :
the 63 with Ussr occupied Germany engravings and the Carl Zeiss sonnar 1,5 ... (that is a big piece of cold war marketing... how carl zeiss west sold their remaining lenses after the ceased production of the contax IIa)
and the 64 without engraving and with a jupiter 8 lens...

I can provide pictures of my 63 version with the right lens...

Hi Stephan, I appologize, I was out of town and was not able to answer in time, but I see you already figured out how to post an entry [;)]...

Welcome to the forums by the way, and thank you for very active participation and knowledgeable posts. It is a tradition here at USSRPhoto.com when a new member registers and starts posting - to create a new thread introducing yourself in the forums and telling us a little bit about yourself, your background, collection habits, etc..

Best regards,
Vlad

Hi Vlad,

May I ask for a new entry in the "Photo Equipment & Accessories" category with the title "<font color="yellow">Filters & Filter Cases</font id="yellow">"?

Thank you!
Sandor.

Hi Poolhall, Camera Cases already exists:

I second the "<font color="yellow">Lens Cases</font id="yellow">" category! Were would it be more appropiate? In the "Photo Equipment & Accessories" or in the "Lenses & Optics" folder?

Vlad, I've got another idea for a category: "<font color="yellow">Factory Logos</font id="yellow">" in the "History, Documents & Ephemera" section...

I would make some cut-outs from the cap photos, with a height of - let's say - 200px. One could post close-ups from lens fronts... S.

Ok, gentlemen, the categories are added. Lens Cases and Filters are added under Photo Equipment & Accessories and the Factory Logos under History. Although for factory logos we could've just had a single entry under Factory Histories.. well whatever works [:)].

Thank you Vlad! Great job!

Logos: I was thinking this way, because the entry - while having the "Factory" word first in it's title -, it would stick to the "Factory Histories", when listed in alphabetical order. And do not forget, it is easier to add those logos, than to write a few notes about the factories... [;)] My two cents. [:)]

Cheers, S.

(Phew, it's too late for English! Sorry if my lines sound weird.)

PS. Poolhall: thank you for the warm welcome! S.
