Congratulations to Vlad for his wonderful and important work!

I'm not sure of the exact day, but just about one year ago Vlad opened this important web site for collectors, aficionados, and users of Russian cameras. He has worked tirelessly to make the site a great place. Great work Vlad !

And congratulations to all who have participated in the site in every way. What a fine group, all included ... and I'm proud to be in it! What a good year for Russian camera people.

So HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the site and a big THANK YOU to Vlad!

(Maybe special anniversary cameras can be made for us in Russia ... a special refurbished LOMO ;-)

Wow! I come back from my weekend out and find this thread! Thank you all VERY MUCH! [:D]. Didn't even realize it's been a year, and what a busy and wonderful year for Soviet camera collectors! I think congratulation should go out to all of you for making the site what it is and be passionate about your hobby! I am very touched by all your kind words, thanks again, I feel very honored and humbled!

Funny thing is Bill posted this right on my five year wedding anniversary too [:D]. Quite a coincidence hehehe..

My congratulations and, thanks also....
This site has been quite an adventure for me, as I knew virtually nothing about Russian cameras when I first visited here. I have been interested in Russian history for quite a few years and, with my already avid interest in cameras, it was a "natural" when I first found this site. I also have the distinct honor or acquiring my first FSU camera, a very nice FED 3, from Vlad. Since then I have managed to add, at last count, 14 others of various manufacture and design... [:D][:D] Thanks to this site and everyone here, I think I have been able to make "wise" choices and I have CERTAINLY learned much.... Thank you Vlad and, thank you to all the mambers here. I am looking forward to many more years and, a "thorough" education...[:)] Also, to Vlad, my best wishes on your five year wedding celebration!
