I believe this picture solves your problem.

As you see there were two factories that produced Chaika flashes. Both in Kharkov, Ukraine. The Kharkov Sovnarkos and the Radiodetal
they can be identified by their logo. Your units are both from Radiodetal.

the only one indication I can say: Chaika was the name (but you still known ;-)) of the dog flying in space before Gagarin ; that's the reason for the second factory label.
So this unit been made after the cosmos doggy fly.

The dog was Laika, not Leica [:D]
Chaika means seagull (or another bird, not good in ornitology).
But early 60ies could be a good guess?

I have two Chaika flashes although similar they differ in size of the case. both have different logos. the condenser one was bought in 1964. the newer smaller with two L were bought in 1975. Different reflectors were accessories of them. I did see a further type with a tiny square reflector and the same case. there were versions with one fountain and two independent reflectors.

Hi Cedric ..that's right ...
but the guy wich sold me this unit said to me it was nammed in "honnour" of Laïka (in latin-French write [:)]) ...the reason of the label on leather cas.
may be true ?[xx(]
