Kiev Film Spool

Can anyone recommend anywhere in UK I can get a film take-up spool for a Kiev 111?

Not sure about UK, but you're probably close enough to Ukraine... try either Mike Haley (http://cccp.alien-planet.net) or Yuri Davidenko in Kiev (http://www.dvdtechnik.com ) - they may be able to help.
