By our topics, some 900 to 1000 1949 Fed-Zorki were made. The first registered belongs to James McGee (serial number: 4813), the last was Alain's (serial # 5722). The first known 1a is the # 5784.
There are no real differences between the '48 and the '49. Of course, the engraving on the plate is different for the date. It seems too that almost all (all?) the '49 have shutters to the 1/500th of the second and crisp paint instead of bright paint when the back is removed (see picture 3).
Most of them have the Industar 22 coated K340 by JLP.
