Zenit MT-1 Surprise cameras were used for medical purposes with special set of lenses and were also used as passport cameras. The MT-1 is a modified Zenit 19. DOF-preview button is still on it, but the mechanism has been removed. The self timer lever was replaced with a connector, from it a cable is connecting to the date back. This offers only a day number, no month or year. There is a flash connector on the camera (synchronised at 1/60th) but no hotshoe. The rear of the camera has a battery check light (red button on top).
